Hi - it hasn't been delievered yet, expected sometime this morning, so I don't have the manufacturers instructions to hand. According to the rpoduct information where I bought it, it is rated at 2.3kw

I bought an new oven which requires hard wiring into the circuit but now discover that the old oven had a conventional power lead and plug. Can anyone tell me if it is OK to simply use the old cable by wiring it to the new oven?
