Awful flooring job, can I take him to court?

I have had a proper floor company in to give me a quote to rip it up and start again, the builder has been given that quote. There's no way of removing the tiles without destroying them. I foolishly believed that a builder with 35 year experience could do this to a reasonable standard. This...

Awful flooring job, can I take him to court?

Builder denies that he's caused any cracking and that I should have supplied anti fracture matt. He has offered to re-lay the floor but I would have to pay for materials, but there's no point if he's already done it "to the best of his ability". I gave him full fitting guidelines from the...

Awful flooring job, can I take him to court?

We had a floor laid by our builder who said he could do it. We supplied very expensive limestone tiles which he's made a really bad job of (see photos). There are uneven gaps on every tile, even though he claimed to be using 5mm spacers, the level of each tile is different, he's even laid on...

new roof leaking, photos here, help please!

Yes, I've just had that response from my solicitor, I have to give him the chance to remedy the work before I can get someone else to do it and make him pay the cost. Hopefully I can get a list of things to be done and present him with them, the items that you have all mentioned will be listed...

OMG. What a mess. Just started leaking behind the soffit in a new place, never done it here before, very very light drizzle. Waiting on 2 roofers to come and quote/advise.

new roof leaking, photos here, help please!

Thanks for the replies, very much appreciated, here's a few more pics to cringe at. Am I right in thinking that if the wall is getting wet from behind the soffit the the only thing keeping water out of the house is the felt membrane? I'm not keen on getting this guy back as he's already been...
