No it's not running direct from the boiler. It runs off of another rad

All the pipes are in the wall. The rad in question I've just noticed is the only rad in the house that has the trv at the furthest end of the rad....would that make a difference?

Hi John Thanks for your reply. I have done this before but am doing again now and the result is that they both get Luke warm. No matter how I balance them the minute I crack open the dining room rad the other drops significantly. It tends to only work when the dining room rad is off completely

Hi The above is electric immersion heater with day night supply. There seems to be no power going to it. Both lights do not come on, obviously no hot water. Fuse box has not been tripped, checked fuse in mains supply and that's fine. Can't believe that both thermostats have gone at the same...

Hi The immersion has a day night supply. None of the lights are on either switch for day night supply. Have changed fuse but still nothing. Hasn't tripped the fuse box, and I guess that both thermostats wouldn't go at the same time. Any help much appreciated

Flash on and off as soon as i put the trip switch back on. Have 1 in the bathroom as the pull cord keeps waking my daughter up. Have a proper sealed PIR suitable for bathrooms

So, just fitted a PIR in the bathroom, threw the trip switch back on and the lights in the bathroom constantly flash on and off. I have turned the trip switch off again. Have i wired it up wrong or is this the set up mode?

Hi I have a Beko wm 1512 washing machine. The fuse had gone so i changed it, there is power going to the machine but it won't do anything. The power light is on but nothing is happening i.e it won't spin, drain, it basically has no operation at all.Any ideas please? Thanks

To be honest when i took the sides off etc i checked all the pipes, the motor and other bits looked difficult to get to so other than twiddling and stuff i didn't do much else...so i wouldnt know where the pump is to be honest

Dishwasher sprayer arms will not move, water not ejecting either. Have checked for blocked pipes and blocked impellors but all fine. Just get a buzzing noise...i tipped it and banged it with a bit of force and it worked. Trouble is that i have to do this everytime to make it work. Any suggestions?

Is the motor/brushes easy to get too?

Hi there, My dishwasher has decided to stop working..I have no error messages, i set the programme, and it drains first which is fine, then it lets water in which is fine but at the point where the spray arms are supposed to start working is where the problem is. All i got is a humming noise...

After doing various things with the pump, swithching off and on again, powering the boiler down and back on, all but 1 radiator is now working, don't know how or why the rest have decided to work. Thanks for all your hep and suggestions, very much appreciated

Ok, it is an F&E system..will try the switching the pump speed up and down and see if that helps. So if it's an air lock problem,would that cause random radiators to not work? (Or does it look random to a non plumber person but there is actually a reason for it?)

Hi, Only partially drained the system past the shut off valve near the pump. Changed the pump, bled all radiators, undone brass screw on pump to make sure no air lock. I will say that I kept the heating on overnight and 2 radiators downstairs have heated up, but there are still 4 that...

Thanks for the reply. There is heat getting past the mid poss valve on the CH side. On my central heating i can either select just hot water or hot water and central heating, i can't have central heating without hot water. If i turn it all off, turn the water stat down to zero, turn the CH room...

Hi, Hot water is fine but no heating except for 1 rad upstairs. I don't have a combi boiler.....A new mid position valve was fitted 3 months ago, (Drayton MA1) the lever on the side is moving as it should dpending on what programme is selected. I replaced the pump last night (Grundfoss 15-50)...
