The boiler is a combi condensing boiler and is 2 weeks old, It works a treat but i dont think it should go through this procedure every time i turn the heating on. cheers

i tried that but it still happens, it says in the book its to fil the condensate trap and the display alternates between "-11-" and water temperature for 15 mins, but only after mains supply as been interupted which it hasnt been. Cheers

When i switch on the central heating the boiler goes into start up mode every time for the first 10 to 15 minutes, and then its away even though its left on standby for the domestic water. my installer says its normal even though in the book it says only after the its been switched off on...

Hi Jon, There are restrictors inthe shower unit that only allow through enough water that the heating element can cope with. your mains pressure should be enough. I changed my old unit for a new Gainsburough 10.5 and the difference was huge, even with the freezing weather we just had,2/3rd full...

hi,the water heat is controlled by the flow,the more you turn it up the slower the flow of water. You must take into account the water feed isvery cold due to the weather,it will improve as the weather gets warmer, If you change to a bigger heater you may have to change the cable. b.p.
