The fuse box was from Screwifx and is a pretty standard Wylex one. Well spotted seco services - any idea what the root problem might be?

Thanks guys! Yeah not sure the spark was that good as my electricak shower isnt working either. He blamed the shower got that reaplced still not working altough the isolation switch lights up. How can i solve the polarity problem? The boiler is plugged into the wall socket like any...

I wasnt at the house when he was working he siad that the problem was with the shower since getting that replcaed another spark has said it is probably the cable from the fuse box - is this likely? Paid the guy £150, what is the best way to test the continuity / get to the bottom of this?

Thanks all ... no paper work with the new fuse box, what is the best way to test the feed to the isolater switch? If there is a problem with the cable from the fuse box to the isolater what is the best test to find out?

I have a Mini C28 boiller which lights but fires for about 5 secnds then switches off. During the 5 seconds you can hear the spark still sparking like the gas hasn't been lit. This started happening since i had a new fuse box replaced - any ideas?
