    Boilers been running now for a week, all looks OK. Replaced PCB, replaced wiring loom and differnial valve. Couldn't find any obvious faults, apart from the leak from the differential valve had been dripping on to one of the spade connectors on the solenoid, also one of my room thermostates...

    Many thanks for your help, ChrisR & bengasman. One last question before I set to work on it. Where is the diaphriam situated in the boiler, is it part of the Diverter Valve? By the way the Model is a VCW-sine18 T3W - GC No. 47 04401

    I have a Valiant Sine 18 Combi Boiler which has served me well for many years. I now have a problem. I can only get hot water to the taps when the heating side is on. If the heating side is off, I only get cold water from the taps. Can anybody help.
