Help! How do I remove expanding foam from UPVC frame?

I know I know I probably shouldn't have used it.....but I had to!! :!: Some of the expanding foam got onto the UPVC frame and I couldn't get it off while wet (as I was fighting to keep the ever expanding foam back). Any hints as to how best to remove it? Thanks

Minimum Depth for Washing Machine Trap

I've just removed a shower tray and will be fitting a washing machine in its place. Problem is the shower trap was quite shallow and the concrete floor was hacked out to allow it to fit. The washing machine trap I have bought is even deeper. Is there a minimum depth of trap required for a...

    earthing

how about this scenario. Extended CH system - and to get around a particularly tricky section used plastic pipes - then back to copper. Does the new copper extension need bonding? MOD moved as posted in wrong forum

Old gas fire removed - does it need ventilaiton?

I've had an old gas fire removed and have covered the opening which is now behind the sofa. Just about to prep for decorating and was thinking of getting it all skimmed. Do I need to install a vent? Thanks.

    Waste pipe for toilet

Thanks Kev, You're right - just spoke to local builders merchant. Apparently the plastic degrades above ground....PLUS a building inspector would do his nut!

    Waste pipe for toilet

I am replacing the old WC and have some spare underground drainage pipe (the reddy brown one). As it's the same size as grey waste pipe is it OK to use it or is there something inherently obvious I've missed? Thanks

    Query regarding Earth Bonding

I have just replaced the bath - but there wasn't any earth bonding. Where can I buy the clamps and what do I ask for? Is it OK to run the earth back to another pipe which has a clamp? For the radiators - I assume that as long as both sets of pipes are connected and earthed that's all...
