    I think the plastic piping was put in place when the boiler was moved from the kitchen to an airing cupboard. Don't think I will be able to figure out whether it's cold mains or radiator by myself :oops: so will have to get someone in. Thanks for all the advice once again. Good to know that...

    Yeah so on the left side of the dent after the right angle it goes to this connection, and then back to copper again. It's a little bendy and I'm pretty sure its a sturdy thick plastic pipe as opposed to metal. Thanks Seco, I will get it fixed. Any idea how much and how long it would...

    The pipe is leading either to or from the boiler. I think it leads to the boiler as at changes to something which isn't copper piping, it's white and looks kinda plastic like before going back to copper and down to the boiler.
