Thankyou for your reply!! now the machine is just filling up and wont stop! ive tried to put it on a spin only and it just flashes

My Hotpoint Aquarius wf000 stops working after 5 mins and the on and off buttons and the stop and rinse buttons start flashing, i can not turn it off by any of the buttons on the front only by the mains!?? Please help any ideas!!?? Thanks!
