    Jst drop the pressure off the system, and cut in a compression tee on one of the primarys and take a new vessel from there, no need for the freezer, and job done in an hour

    seroiusly the trap must be cleaned properly at service, this will ,provided the exit pipework is clear ,not block between services,If the pipework goes into the ground in a "soakaway" they can become waterlogged and back up , causing some of the problems you have suggested

    If you phone the manufacturers on 01482 498660 the will if you ask them post you a copy of the book, as for the prv, it is a tight job,just need small hands, if there is no bottom access, drop the pump out, to give you a bit more room

    Corgiman , I must disagree, icos/ isar heat exchangers are very reliable, and failure is only generally to do with incorrect installation, generally water treatment, and if it was only 4 months old, the boiler would be covered by warrantyto cover manufacturing faults, provided it was installed...
