    Washing machine installation

Plumbing in a washing machine is easy. Connect the flexible pipe (comes with the machine - most new ones are single inlet - cold) to the cold water inlet, then connect the waste to the waste connection as before (sounds like your waste goes into the sink waste pipe which is ok).

    Need help with WC connection

 I feel old too, after doing all the plumbing in my house :P Why of why did the people before think of keeping a mixture of lead, steel, copper and brass pipes ?? By the way the plumber was a member of the IPHE - cannot even be bothered to ring me back - I say let the Eastern Europeans...

    Need help with WC connection

:o I thought that was possible, lame exuses from the plumber heh, well if the manufacturer allows you to do this then it should be fine. British Gas quote for new boiler

The ones I was recommended did not even turn up :( So I do not have much faith in recommendations. I suppose I will have to ring up those listed on the corgi website for my area. Are Thames water any good at this sort of job (they seem to be offering boiler replacement as a service)...

British Gas quote for new boiler

Hello I have got a quote from BG for a new boiler. They recommended a Bosch combi to replace the floor standing cast iron >30yrs age Cavalier Crane Boiler (in Kitchen). It is for CH and heats water via a indirect water cylinder. They have quoted £4000 all inclusive (seems expensive). I...
