The best thing to do would be to remove all the radiators and flush them through with a hose pipe. And treat the water with a good quality inhibitor. Regards Robiow
Isolate the supply to the tap and remove the flexis, and check the o-rings are in place and tighten back up. They should only be screwed hand tight into the tap body, and if fitted correctly they shouldn't leak. Regards robiow
Some trvs are bi-directional eg: 2 arrows on the trv valve body. Some only have 1. If there is only 1 arrow you will need to make sure that this is connected to the flow (which ever pipe get hot first) and not the return.
If the existing valve your connecting to is bidirectional, and you use...
Sounds like a heat exchanger may be scaled up. You will need a registered gas safe engineer to confirm this. The hx can be Cleaned/repaired and sometimes you may just be better off buying a new boiler.
Happy new year. Rob
What type of hot water system do you have? Mains pressure or gravity fed.
Some taps require a working pressure of a least 1 bar, or they will not operate. Generally the taps with the big sprinkler heads. Robiow
If you make sure nothing is using the water supply. Check to see if the meter is spinning.
You could also attach a pressure gauge to your system and isolate the supply, and see if there is any drop . Regards robiow
Get some light sand paper and remove any burrs from the ends of the cut pipe. I guess your using a saw blade which leaves the edges rough and the pipes are hard to put together.
If you use a good pvc pipe/cutter blade no need remove burrs. Just be careful you don't crush the pipe.
Hope...
Why not fit one of these,

And save the hassle of going through the roof 😀
Sorry thought it was a shower pump, didn't realise it was for pumping the waste.
Maybe I should read the title, although some people don't know a spanner from a sparrow. 😏
Hope someone can help you. Rob
It could possibly be the thermal cut out switch?
Can you restart the shower shortly after or do you have to wait a while?
The impeller could be sticking, so the motor is straining and causing it to shut down.
Are you able to check to see if the shaft spins freely.
