Thanks Dave, yes the timer must be single channel because I cannot find controls anywhere to individually control CH & HW. My landlord is finally coming to check it today, I will see what happens when he looks at it first and inform what he says. Thanks Lyndsy

Ok so after reading that thread, and looking at the timer itself, I still dont know how to select hot water OR central heating, there is nothing on the timer that says anything about water or heating. Its just times and days and modes?

Ah, that will be my partner, I didnt know it was this forum she was on though. It is really stressing us both out. I didnt know there was 2 seperate temperatures, one for water and on for heating? I turned it up to 70c on the actual boiler.
