    Well guys, many thanks for the advice - it seems like I'm on the right track - I'll try the cheaper option first!! It just so happens there are 3 scrap Jags on ebay! Thermistors and boards will no doubt be the same so it looks like I have some spares!! I'll let you know what it was - any bets...
