I'm afraid I don't have the knowledge to answer the technical questions in relation to heating system. As it stands I have 2 of the 4 rads now working and when I have more time I will attempt the 'close down and pull it through technique' to try and get the others running. Thanks again.

I have been able to get good heat to 2 of the rads (the ones that were partially working before) but not the other 2. On the 2 that are not working the pipe to the TRV gets very hot but there is nothing getting into the rad and the pipe on the other side is cold. Any idea as to why this...

Thanks for your reply. I have bled them but they seem ok in that department as there was no air escaping. Also the TRV pins are free. My reluctance to shut all the rads down is that following the fitting of the new boiler it literally took weeks of trial and error to get all of the rads...
