    What saw do i need?

Well I currently have a relatively new brass backed tenon saw. Nothing spectacular (Spear & Jackson jobbie - 15tpi I think). Reason I ask is that it seems a rather slow process to cut a 3 or 4 inch tenon shoulder down the grain. It seems more like its sanding the kerf out rather than cutting...

Do people know how to use power tools ?

I work for a very popular trade suppliers and get a fair few returns of power tools. From the lesser brands to some of the big boys. I sometimes wonder if these tools have actually failed on reliability levels or if people just hammer them beyond their intended capabilities.

    Freud FT2200 1/4 collet - help.

Hello everybody. I recently bought a Freud FT2200 secondhand which came with 2 collets....a 1/2" and what I assumed would be a 1/4" too. However the smaller looking collet is not a 1/4" and way too big for my 1/4" bits. So basically I need a 1/4" collet. BUT for those of you familiar...

Router Table - Buy or Build ?

The money isn't a problem. Minus the cost of materials and time to build I think the difference is worth spending to have proper t-tracks and an accurate product.
