    You could bolt timbers onto both sides of the purlins as you suggest as then build up a framework using joist hangers at 610mm centres and using 25mm ply for superior strength between purlins.

    Tata colourcoat urban is in the region of £30sq for supply and fit.If you supply Tata with drawings they will work out total costings and recommend local installers.This roofing system is not self supporting and would need a ply substrate or similar.
