Cheers guys, holding it down with twisted straps from rafters down to inner skin.

I've had a pitched roof installed, it's a lean to type roof over an existing extension. The builder has put the wall plate on the external leaf of the wall and placed the rafters on this. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
