You might be able to turn the sounder down, some fire sounders have a volume pot on the back. Post a picture of the sounder

    New G2-12 Install. Won't countdown

It sounds like it's setup so opening and closing of the entry/exit door terminates the set, which is better than timed imo

    Galaxy G2-44 keypad options

Didn't think so. Thanks. Can the keypad buzzer have its output type changed under 53 program outputs or is that also unavailable on the G2?

    Galaxy G2-44 keypad options

I have recently purchased a galaxy G2-44 for upgrading a friends old optima system. The keypad menu (58) doesn't seem to be there meaning I can't setup the keypad backlight to be off when the system is set. Can this be done on the G2 range or am I right in thinking it can only be done on the G3...

    Panasonic TX40C300B TV

Thanks for your reply lucid! I've been out to have a look at the UE40J5100 and have decided to order one. Looks like a great set for the money! The C300 looked awful in comparison

    Panasonic TX40C300B TV

Evening, I am looking to purchase a Panasonic TX40C300B to replace my Panasonic TH37-PX60B. I can't find a manual for it and reviews seem very mixed, but it still looks like a good set. Is it a good replacement? If not, could you recommend a replacement? Looking to spend £300 and under. Thanks!

    Honeywell galaxy 'high res'

It was showing 1300 ohms so I replaced the detector with a different one to see if the relay was faulty on the dual tech, however the replacement detector is also showing high res! So I'm thinking it's possibly the resistors or the cable...

    Honeywell galaxy 'high res'

Hello I recently posted about a guardall dual tech that has been false alarming. I have not got round to replacing it yet, I have the zone programmed as 'set log' on the galaxy at the moment so I can see when it activates without it setting the alarm off. Upon viewing the zone under option 22...

    Panasonic TH-37PX60B stand

I have a Panasonic TH-37PX60B plasma screen and I'm on the look out for a pedestal stand for it so I can put it on a different TV unit as opposed to having it on the floor stand that comes with it. I can't seem to find a pedestal stand anywhere. Any ideas where I can find one for a good price...

    Guardall DT15/100 MW disable

It doesn't appear to have a control terminal like on other models. Only pairs for power, alarm, tamper and a test terminal.

    Guardall DT15/100 MW disable

Thanks sparkymarka, will look into ordering one. Will putting a wire link between 12v and the test terminal disable the microwave for the time being?

    Guardall DT15/100 MW disable

I am turning it off for now because I keep getting false alarms from that detector. The detector in question is fitted in my shed along with another DT15 which has been fine. I'm thinking that they are interfereing with each other.

    Guardall DT15/100 MW disable

I have a guardall DT15 that needs the microwave element disabled, the only way the manual says to do it is to turn on Dipswitch 3 (MW day disable) and then wire an output from the panel up to the test output and 12v in the detector. The detector only has 4 core cable running to it so I can't...

    Elmdene INT400S hold-off

Evening all. I have recently taken delivery of an elmdene INT400s for my garage. Does it have an engineers hold off to keep it quiet on installation or do I need to get the ear defenders out? Cheers.

    Texecom Premier Auto Disarm

Hi, I have a Texecom Premier 88 installed in my house and I would like to start arming it at night. We don't like the idea of having to Disarm the system if we need to go downstairs at night. All the upstairs zones would be omitted for the part-set, would there be a way for the panel to...
