Hi all. It's been a while.
I have solar decking lights that I measured the circular protruding base at 60mm so I bought a 60mm hole saw. The holes are just not big enough, literally 1 or 2mm.
What is the best tool to use/buy to expand the diameter slightly?
Multipoint locks won't retract fully, meaning door won't open, unless excessive force is applied to handle at lowest point. I can open it but my wife and children are now really struggling.
After lifting the handle to activate multi point locks, they only go back in by 90% when handle pushed...
Hi all. If I changed my 1700 single end bath for another 1700, are the wastes a standard length or is there a chance they will not match up with the existing waste pipe under the tub? (Or is the final fitting a flexi hose like the overflow?)
Thanks
Hi all.
I have a 1 1/2 kitchen wash basin. As you will see in the pic, I have a leak from the part that is circled. I have tried boss white around it but the water is coming back the way I guess. The join is not tight as the thread doesn't seem to tighten up properly around the inner pipe for...
I have an unbranded WiFi thermostat labelled rn004. I'm replacing a Danfoss rmt 230.
1) The new stat has 2 thin white wires coming from the side, around 5cm long each. Are these for extra temperature readings from floor etc? If so, how do I not use\bypass them so I can just use internal...

Hi all.
In my kids bedroom I fitted a 3 light circular spot light type fixture around 4 weeks ago. It had GU10 type bulbs in it. All was fine.
I changed the bulbs for LED dimmable GU10 type (for their dimmer switch). From the start there was a slight flicker when not at full power. After 3-4...
I have removed the 9mm case fan from my desktop. I have connected it to a 12v supply. The blades try to move, only a few mm, then when cut power, you can see the fan blades relax and move back a few mm. Any ideas? Fan goosed?
Hi. When I depress my handle, the two hook bolts don't go in far enough, only by about 3mm, but enough to stop the door opening. You have to put all you body weight down on the handle to get that last 'click' to open the door. Its now getting to the point that my wife and kids cannot open the...
Hi. When I connect my expanding hose to my bath tap. The tap shuts off like it's blocked or like your finger is blocking it. However there are no blockages, the valves are all open but the hose will not expand as the water cuts off at the tap. Please help...

Hi
I am replacing all socket and switch covers in my home to chrome versions. In the kitchen... 1) Washing machine plugs into socket under worktop but has fused switch above counter. When I originally rewired it and flicked the switch, the red led light came on as you would expect it to. Then I...
