Not in warranty. Boiler just went into fault again. Tried to ignite but failed, display showed E078 and flame fail symbol and spanner symbol flashing. Tried again and it ignited ok But after 10 seconds burner went off. Tried again and it ignited and stayed on. Anyone know what E078 code means...

Hi need some advice please. Baxi duotec 2 has fault code E069 when I read codes stored. Cannot find this code in the manual at all. Another code is E078, again cannot find this code in manual. Pressure went down yesterday so I topped it up. Found a slight leak on one TRV. Any advice appreciated...

Just noticed that when boiler switches between hot water to CH there seems to be a lot of air trapped in the boiler making a noise. The system was drained to replace the Diverter valve then refilled but I wonder if the automatic air vent is stuck not allowing the air to escape.

Any experience of fitting the new "Advance Plus"? I'm considering one of these the 30C or even the "Inovia" Not actually seen one yet to judge the quality.

Thing i DONT like about the new Modena is that pressure gauge under the boiler on the valve. looks naff to say least. Cant seem to find a rear pipe standoff either.

I am also considering fitting one of these Ferroli Modena. Can the pipes be routed up behind the boiler? Whats your opinion of the overall construction of them? Many thanks.

Just been looking at the new Ferroli Modena HE combi. No diverter valve or motor, no plate exchanger, less bits to go wrong. Cant be any worse than Ideal.

Nothing to worry about. It will tend to do it more frequently in this cold spell too. :)

A "t" in display shows that boiler is going through a preheat cycle. This is to keep the domestic water heat exchanger hot. It does this every hour or so to have hot water on demand. Not a fault condition.

I have instruction manual for this boiler. If any use i can e-mail you a copy of instruction to light pilot.

I am trying to find the rear combustion chamber panel insulation for this boiler. Original part number is 87161422800. Its an old boiler and worcester say obsolete. Just wondered if my lucks in and anyone has one laying around. cheers all.

Most likely main PCB, is it in a black or orange plastic case?
