Many thanks,Keithwasherman...I've done what you suggested but can't find any blockages.One thing I have noticed is that inside the rubber drain hose,just below the drum,there's a ball,a bit smaller than a tennis ball.Presumably it's supposed to be there and perhaps it acts as a non-return valve...

Can anyone help,please?....our Miele Novotronic washing machine doesn't rinse properly.Even if you run the rinse cycle several times,there's still soapy water left in the drum and left in the items you're rinsing. Any suggestions as to how to cure this? ______________________ moderator...
