It does move but I can't aeemake anything budge. I dont know what tool to use and I'm worried I might snap if I push too hard on it.

    Toilet seat loose no access

No screw or push button that I can see. That little plastic piece inside doesn't seem to do anything either. Taken a couple of more pictures. The toilet isn't completely up against the wall but there is no way I can get my arm inside

    Toilet seat loose no access

Hi all, my toilet seat in my rented house is really loose. I can't get access to the underneath and after viewing some forums posts some people are saying you can access from the top. The problem is, I can't find images of my toilet anywhere and my fixings are different. See images below. Can...

Alternate to drilling to fit curtain rod

I will give it a try thank you 😊 we invested into an oil rad which is helping quite a bit compared to the crappy heating in this flat.

Well if that is the case then curtains will be best. The spare room is as cold as outside but never mind.

We don't have gas here. We have electricity , electric wall heaters. Not storage heaters before you ask. The heat goes as soon as they are off and its not big enough to heat that room up anyway. Seriously, stop with the idiotic remarks.

I think it's the seals, the spare room is the worst. You can see your breath in there.

Yes because huddling on the sofa with two duvets just to keep warm is complaining over nothing. Shut up if you have nothing useful to say you idiot.

This is what the window looks like. As you can see, the window is double glazed and then there is another window that slides across to block out the noise from the loud road.

I think it's the window rather than the frame, I will get touch. At the moment it's only got a blind, I will take a photo to show you what I mean

I've found out that because it's an apartment complex that the property manager would need to fix it if it's an exterior issue, which would mean no qualms with my landlord - Score!

If you walk into my spare room you would realise how bad it was. We have the heating on and we still have to have duvets on to keep warm. This flat is only 6 years old. It has double glazing and then a second sliding window to block out the noise from the dual carriage way

Yes I agree, but it's come to the point where I feel like I'm pushing my luck. I pay rent, full rent, never late, look after the flat very well. We have made improvements ourselves. I've heard that landlords can just give up and get you evicted

Unfortunately, I don't think that's an option We have had the contractors out for a lot of issue, We've had the taps replaced, shower fitting, new oven, new lights, letter box fixed, plug sockets replaced, extractor fan replaced. I can't keep getting them out. Is there an easy way...
