Solder ring straight coupler

I think this is the case because when i fitted it in (the old pipe) on the 22mm straight coupler it is loose, as compared to the new 22mm pipe. What should i do with this?

Hiya, I used the straight coupler to joint an old pipe which is slightly small than the new one (22mm) ‍♂️. It has a slight leak on it. Is there any way that I could seal it without drain the system again and soldering it?
