We originally had a switchmaster SM805 mechanical timer and we swapped it for the centaur c27 programmer. It has worked for the past 8 months and just now started playing up but do you think it may not be compatible?

Oh my god thank you so much its worked! The heating is on constant now but can be switched off with room thermostat. Seeing as though this has worked does that mean we do need to replace the programmer?

The hot water now seems to be intermittently working and then not working too. As soon as we took off the programmer we could power hot water through connecting with a wire but not the CH is that normal? As soon as we put the programmer back on hot water works then turned off hot water, tried...

Also the hot water won't come on if we set programmer to all day, will only work with timer or 24 hours, we arent sure if this has always been the case though and weve only just now realised.
