Sorted the reverse light, changed the switch and bulb all seem fine now, last but not least, Rusty arches, Any kind of filler recommended ill be taking my test in a few weeks and want to get on the road ASAP

Hi again, Had the drive shafts done no noise, but broke the drop link in the process, I have another issue =.= reverse light isnt working, have changed bulbs fuses and also the reverse light switch on the box the board for the bulbs looks fine any ideas?

Its not leaking just knocks, if the drive shaft change doesnt work ill get refunded and look into what else it could be

Okay then and he just tapped around the base of the car lightly and it went straight through 2 of the sils because he is a neighbour hes welding it for free car doesnt look like its had much done in the 16 years its been around

And no its still steering not moved

This is on no lock he could physically pull them out of the gear box i thought it was brakes at first then he checked it over was the drive shaft and welding needing doing in sils

But there is also a knocking noise when the wheel turns jacked up

Nah the mechanic mate by me can move them in and out :S getting it replaced seems easier

Last question guys gearbox oil? What type am i looking for driveshafts have gone :'(

Just took it out its all good no leaks, Other problem im having is the rear wiper is sticking :( unsure if its the wiper or motor, It goes a few times then stop but you can here the motor working

Cheers for the advice done the job just gotto hope it holds up, Halfords wanted £60 an hour to it!!
