    Thanks for all the advice. I have used soldered joints for the pipework upto the radiator valve and used a copper pushfit joint to connect the pipe to the existing central heating pipe. Much neater job. Cheers....John :D

    Thanks for the advice. I've drained the radiator and ran both taps into buckets until they both ran hot water. Put the radiator back on, and touch wood, it has stayed hot. I will wait and see what happens in the morning when the heating has been off overnight. Just a quick point, how...
