How to cut worktop boltholes with this jig

Unfortunately no maker's name on the jig, but I think it's easy enough. I'm hoping I can find a suitable guide bush for the router (I do have the model no for) - I did have a look online with no luck.

How to cut worktop boltholes with this jig

The router is 1850W and I have a set of new bits for cutting worktops. Cutting the bolt recesses looks straightforward enough from what I've seen on YouTube. The guy I bought this off reckoned I wouldn't need a guide bush, but I think I do! The worktop has a straight edge, so I don't need to...

How to cut worktop boltholes with this jig

I believe so. I'm just not sure how it should be used. I guess as long as the recesses are in line and the same depth, it's not rocket science. The lack of guide bush on the router is a problem though, I think. It's a half inch router.

How to cut worktop boltholes with this jig

I've acquired this jig and router. I'm only interested in how to cut the recesses under the worktop to insert bolts to join the corners - can they be done with that cross shape on the left? Also, I think my router is missing a guide bush. It's a Silverline 675059. Can I get a guide bush for...

    Cutting a laminate worktop

Sorry, edited it as I posted the wrong link! I'm thinking I don't necessarily need it to be 190mm diameter - it can be smaller. I just want something that will cut through a laminate worktop reasonably neatly!

    Cutting a laminate worktop

I would get this blade but they are showing 24-48 hours wait at all the nearby stores. Who knew that getting a circular saw blade would be so difficult?!

    Cutting a laminate worktop

Screwfix don't seem to do Saxton. Can you recommend a blade that will do the job from Screwfix or Toolstation? Ideally one that doesn't cost a fortune!

They're the original blades that came with the saw. It's 1350 Watts.

    Cutting a laminate worktop

Thanks for the replies! It's definitely a circular saw - it's a mains powered one from Lidl (I guess that will displease the purists!) and it came with two blades - one for rough cuts and one for fine cuts. I was using the fine one until it went blunt, so I went and got another one from...

    Cutting a laminate worktop

I decided to cut our laminate worktop with a circular saw, since it's an end that will just butt up against a corner. It was long enough to allow me a few practice cuts, but on the third one it came to an abrubt halt as the blade became blunt and overheated. So I went to Screwfix to get another...

    Router & Jig for worktop

Actually, I found this video which I think will work better for joining these square edge worktops: I still think I need a guide bush to make the joining bolts... although it's not crucial to get a fine finish on that. I will need to cut a bit off the lengths, but I have a circular saw for...

    Router & Jig for worktop

Actually, the worktop is a SALJAN IKEA custom made worktop - it has square edges, so I'm not sure what sort of joins are appropriate... we need to make 2 x L joins

    Router & Jig for worktop

I have a laminate kitchen worktop I need to fit, so I've obtained a Silverline half inch router 675059 and a jig. However, I seem to be missing a guide bush. Does anyone know of it's possible to get a guide bush to fit this thing? I also have no instructions with the jig!

MCBs compatible with MK Consumer unit

The CU was installed in 2016, so fairly recent. Anyway, the electricians had them in stock and all is sorted now!
