    Hi I'm in a 1930's house and stripping the wall bare the plaster due to paint cracking. When stripping the walls back in pulling bits of plaster away with it in large areas. I don't have the money to have the walls plastered, does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get them smooth...

    Paint Cracks

    i recently moved into a 1930s house and the walls all seem nice and solid and no plaster issues, however in the paint work are loads of small cracks. Can anyone adivse the best way to make it a smooth finish?

    Thanks for the help. It pipes It was an early post after a very late night! Thanks for the help. Cheers everyone I now need to find a way to make them look pretty as I think taking them out would be more hassle. Also any advice on what this is?

    Hi All, My Partner and I recently completed on a 1930's house which is in need of lots of work. We have come across these sockets on the skirting boards which we have no clue what they're for! Does anyone have any idea? paste image host They only seem to be in rooms with chimney breasts. Thanks
