Would a worcester heatslave 2 combie 32 kw handle two showers.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with two showers working off a combi, and how well it worked? I've always been told a combi is only good for a one bathroom flat, or house. The oil combi does have a tank of course, and at 32 kw, it should handle it better than a gas boiler with no tank...

delavan w nozzle vs danfoss eh es nozzles

Thanks for your input. I have just bought a bunch of Delavan nozzles, so might as well try out this theory. I am going to first use the danfoss nozzle, and test combustion, then try Delavan, and see if there is any difference when I try it on a few boilers. I was going to do it today, but I...

delavan w nozzle vs danfoss eh es nozzles

I have just recently found out w delavan nozzles can be used in place of both danfoss eh and es nozzles. What I have also been told which I find even more amazing is that Delavan w nozzles produce better combustion than the danfoss nozzles; mainly less CO. I am going to find this out for...

Thanks for the heads up on the BES flexies. I noticed they were a good bit cheaper, but will stay clear.

Worcester heatslave 15/19 won't stop firing?

Yes it does have a post purge unit. I phoned worcester and after a few of them had a discussion about this unusual fault they said I should replace the post purge unit. When I asked why, their reply was it is cheaper than the PCB, so should replace the cheaper part first. I tried linking out...

Flexible oil lines, standard vs long life your opinion?

What is your opinion on flexible oil lines? Do you use standard oil lines, or long life oil lines and why? I am still using standard oil lines. I find they easily last longer than their one year. If they feel like they are loosing their flexibility, look in poor condition I replace them, and...

Worcester heatslave 15/19 won't stop firing?

The control box is brand new. Tried it out a few days ago when I thought it was the likely cause of a temperamental burner. It worked fine then with no red light on it. Could the back box on the control box be the reason why the lockout is lit, but the burner still firing.

Worcester heatslave 15/19 won't stop firing?

No. I will try disconnecting that tomorrow and see if that stops it. I just can't understand why the lockout button on the control box is lit, and the burner is still firing.

Worcester heatslave 15/19 won't stop firing?

Do you mean the PCB? I tried the control box on the burner, I had one in the van, but had the same problem.

Worcester heatslave 15/19 won't stop firing?

Never seen this problem before. It is a worcester heatslave 15/19 fitted with a Bentone burner. Boiler is around 15 years old. The red light on the control box is on, like the boiler is locked out, but the burner is still firing. I have the hot water and central heating turned off at the...

Oil boiler question to do with oil pump connection

Same. Makes keeping stock easy. I just thought someone would have an idea why there are so many people using nipples on the oil pump side.

Danesmoor Oil Boiler - starts, runs, stops!

Have you just moved in, or has the boiler been working ok previous to this? If you moved in a while ago, and have not been having any problems up until now, I would replace the pump. A few checks to do beforehand trying turning the pump speed to maximum and see if it makes any difference...

Danesmoor Oil Boiler - starts, runs, stops!

It's definitely a circulation problem. Just because the pump rotates does not mean the pump is fully healthy. Tell me more about the system, by answering these questions. Do you have a pressurised system you need to top up, or system fed from a header tank in the attack? Do you have a three...

How do I fix this leaking radiator?

Remove the white cap with a flat screwdriver. Remove the brass nut around the spindle by untightening it anticlockwise. Wrap a few turns of Ptfe tape around the spindle, and then press it down to it surrounds the spindle. Put some silicone grease on top to make it easy to put the nut back on...

Oil boiler question. Does a DK0972 Satronic control box work on a DK0970?

Yes I am OFTEC registered. Worked as a plumber for quite a few years, and now most the work I do for the past year is working on oil boilers. There is still things I do not know though. There are a few guys I noticed on the forum who do a lot of work on oil boilers, so I though this would be a...

Danesmoor Oil Boiler - starts, runs, stops!

If you are pressing the button on the control box, and nothing is happening at all, it sounds like the boiler is up to temperature, and the pump is not circulating the water around the system. When the boiler was running for 15 minutes, did the radiators start to heat up, or was it just the...
