Hi, its fixed to speed 1, not variable. The taco has always been on the system since i moved in, i assume its to regulate the flow speed through the heat exchanger, however the baffle never changes above the 8 mark, i just wonder what purpose the spring has and if it should move about so much

The new pump is a grundfos ups2 set on 1, the old was a wilo rs25/6-3p set on 1. Thanks

Good Afternoon, My heating system has a taconova setter fitted before a heat exchanger with pump. I've noticed that the spring inside the setter seems to be moving around a lot while the pump is running, is this correct? I don't think it did it before. The pump has recently been changed...
