nothing on the back of the rads.....there is a turning valve on a pipe below the boiler, could that be a bleeding valve ?

I think there is air in my central heating system, the radiators upstairs ar cold, can anyone tell me how to bleed my system, my radiators don't have valve points at the top of each radiator so I dont know how to do it.
