I'm trying to replace the waste in my downstairs WC. The existing waste is 11/2 inches as is the pipework below. I'm struggling to find a 1 1/2 inch basin trap though. I'm guessing I can't substitute a 1 1/4 inch version as the gaps will be too large between the basin and the traps? Any ideas...
