Has anybody any experience in building a dovecote. there are lots of web sites giving details of dovecotes for sale at high prices but I would like to have a go myself. Any advice or details of where to look specifically will be appreciated Thanks

I am constructing an octagonal summer house which is to be slated & I wish to know how to do the "mopstick" lead flashing at the hips (8) including details of how much overlap is required & how to stop wind lift etc.etc.
