The Lifter is already broke got a new one but haven't the time to replaceit yet .

An update from my previous post . I changed the brushes but didn't make a difference . i found a site that repairs modules ,so I removed mine in order to get the model number off it then put it back in the machine .HEY PRESTO it spins now must have been a loose/dirty contact or some thing...

Well update , I've changed the brushes still got the same problem .What's next on the usual suspects list ?

I've got a vectra estate i'd recommend them to anyone only niggly probs so far. 2001 model good body work no engine probs 1.8 125 bhp goes like the clappers .

I'm not a plumber but willing to try any thing . I installed my own central heating system ,including boiler as per man instructions & only had a gas fitter in to connect it to the gas supply ( which I ran the pipework to also )& commission it . So yes they would do just as you ask .

Checked the filter & the operation of the pressure switch ,took the bottle for the pressure switch off the drum checked if it was clear ,so cheapest first............ brushes then see what happens .

yep thats what I was measuring from the carbon holder to the end of the longest side of the brush .

i read on another forum site that if they were 6mm to change them ,thats why I thought they were ok. What size are they new ?

Hope someone can help . The machine won't go into a final spin on any programme . Checked brushes 10mm at longest point & Pressure switch tube & bottle all ok any help much appreciated .
