Hi I have the tricity bendix tm320 w condenser dryer. the problem is that when it spins anti clockwise it is virtualy silent but when it spins clockwise it makes a sort of rubling and clicking noise. can any one offer any suggestions as to what it is? thanks alan

what memory have you got? if you have 2 sticks in seperate bays then its a well documented problem with xp pro. try taking one of the memory stcks out then reboot. that should stop it from freezing and looping.

Ok. just on the off chance i replaced the switch in the living room but ive now been able to investigate a bit more. so then. all the lights are on the same fuse but only the downstairs are affected. all the wires are in the right place in the ceiling and the switches. basically whats happening...

they all seem fine. no loose wires as far as i can tell. Ive checked the switch which i believe to be the first one on the circuit and i didnt get a jolt from it so im assuming theres something not connected somewhere?

ok all sockets and switches are dead. all fuses seem ok, im guessing that the living room is first on the circuit so if this is dead then the rest will be. i take it that i now have to get the floorboards up in the bedroom to see whats going on there?
