Tony, It says Potterton Promax 15HE on the unit. As for pilot light, i must mean there is an inspection window where you can see the flame ignite. Hope this helps S

Hello, My Potterton HE boiler has developed the following problem. As soon as it reaches the set temp on the thermostat, it cuts out. The pilot light needs to be reset, to fire it up again. No other problems with hot water just heating. Any idea's. Cheers Sean

Thanks Bahco, May of solved the problem. The trap and overflow tube covered in grime. Just cleaned and wait and sniff. Once again thank you.

Help, Hello, I have a smelly kitchen plughole which is now starting to waft through the house. I have a Dishwasher attached to the pipes under the sink. I have just checked for blockages and there doesn't seem to be any in the system. Has anybody got any idea's how to solve the problem...

It is a constant whine when the heating is on. Pump has been changed no joy. Noise comes from boiler. sounds like an outboard motor.

The sytem is a Potterton Promax HE Gas boiler. :shock:
