    Thanks for the reply, there is no need to run water down the hole as it was full of water to start with and not draining away, can you confirm if that is the cill marked on photo, cheers.

    Do I need to drain the radiator when I disconnect it or can I just block off at both ends so that I can keep the fernox inhibitor inside the radiator, if the answer is yes how do I block of both outlets.

    Thanks for the replies, it may be easy as you both say so what about the cost implications please? And what is involved in the conversion. The reason why I am asking, is its gonna cost circa £700 to get NG to my house and don't want to jump the gun in getting my boiler converted.
