Hi sleepyhead - thanks for trying to help - What is a flooded base? and what can I do about it - all the best

My indesit dishwasher empties but then the pump keeps going - it is as though it does not know it is empty so canmnnot fill again to do next stage? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
