theres a big disc on the front of the pump (about 1 inch across) is that the bleed valve?

hi....eurostar oil boiler..tank in air cupboard..grundfos pump all rads are bled./.all rads have water in...how do i tell if the system is full>? i found a bleed valve in airing cupboard....bled that...wonder if theres more somewhere.. when i turn heating on pump sound louder than...

hi. was very pleased to get a replacement rad fitted & TRV but now after bleeding all rads only the upstairs bedroom rads are on..bathroom is luck warm & no downstairs rads are on.../cant work it out,,,gut feeling is an air lock somewhere any ideas normal system with a tank..not combi...

cheers....just checked & 2 pipes coming out of the top of the boiler.. any ideas where about the CH motorised valve might be located in the system & how big of a job it would be to fix? wonder if the value might need freeing up rather than replacing.. thanks again

hi... recently had gas boiler serviced now oddly the radiators upstairs are heating up whenever the hot water is heated even though the room thermostat is low & the control panel has central heating turned off.. cant understand it.....any ideas? thanks

hello.. thinking of decorating hall/stairs/landing tomorrow.... want to make a decent job but 1 thing is annoying me that you guys might have a tip to solve... at the bottom of the plaster board/stud wall either side of the stairs is a wooden stair skirting board type thing... on a 5...

just what I was thinking on DSM.....I can't begin to think I'd use one of those manual tools to do the whole bathroom...I'm off to find a dremel with grout removing tool...thanks

thanks...slightly confused now....thinking I should have 4 wires coming out of the ceiling (upstairs switch, downstairs switch, supply + supply to next)... no multimeter so some trial & error required tomorrow I think. thanks

hello...not the best with lighting or electrics so need a bit of advice. have removed the light fitting at the top of the stairs + can't work out the correct way to reconnect the new fitting... I have 3 sets of cable coming out of the ceiling (each 1 live/1 neutral)... There is a switch...
