There is a constant boiling sound coming from my boiler when heating/hot water on. only goes off when room thermostat reached desired temp. what could cause this problem? Thanks

not usually a problem but trying to iron out several problems ie boiling noises from boiler and pump even after boiler no longer fired up. just wondered whether it was a factor.

Its a honeywell open vent boiler, system bout 20 years old with 3 way mid position valve fitted.

Just moved into new house and it has y plan heating system, we can't seem to have heating on unless hot water is also on. We can however have hot water alone. Is this normal or should we be able to have independent control of heating? Thanks
