    thanks salem Ive been on their website before i started they recommend measuring accuratley , then cut at a slight angle to achieve a friction fit. the downside with this principle is that the baord you are left with is oversized on one side due the the angle. - or am i missing something

    im using tri iso thermal quilt (1" thick) on the underside of the rafter counterbatten along that plasterboard on the batten does this make a differnece to your answer As you can tell im keen to use downlighters or shall we say SHE is keen .lol
