my washing machine has stopped doing a full cycle you put it on setting to do a wash and it stays on it for hours just going round one way and then back the other it won\\\'t click on to rinse and the spin to finish complete wash can anyone help?

My indesit w103 starts every cycle as it should but then it won\\\'t continue to the next setting. It starts to wash but then won\\\'t move on to rinse.
