    I am about to install my bath and hope to fit the bath to the wall first, then tile down to it, which I think gives a neater seal. However, I have figured out that if I do this the bath panel wont fit, due to the projection of the tiles at either end. Can anyone advise me on a way round this...

    thanks to both so far. sorry john d, but was the valve good? did it adjust properly when wc flushed etc? in essence did the temparature stay reasonably stable.
