I have had cavity wall installation but after the installer had left I found that the attic in my bungalow was full of wool from the installation. How can I check to see if the wall has been properly insulated or whether most of the wool went into the roof space??

I recently fitted an outside tap. When I screwed in the outside tap I ensured that I had placed some tape on the thread. Everything was watertight. Now, some 2 day after doing so, the outer brass casing of the tap has split and water is leaking. Can this have been caused by the tape?

A plasterer did some work in my kitchen which has stone floor tiles. He made a complete mess on the floor and I am having difficulty getting the plaster stains off the stone tiles. Does anyone have a solution please? :x
