hey guys am trying to get my head round ohms law now i understand how to work it all out but all i wanna know is why you would need to work out the resistance? is it for a test sheet you fill out? and can you just not use a resistance tester? sorry if this is a stupid question

no i havent done any work in the house since he did the board

its fine to clip a 2.5mm flat gray cable outside? is there no regs for it being protected?

if i wanted to add a socket to my ring main just a spur and the neatest way is to drill out side across the outside wall and back in again about 20inch are so is it ok to put the cable in metal capping are is there any regs about going outside

is it true that they are trying to get ring mains out and usin radials instead?

i was just wondering if i wanted to add a socket to my ring main i know about just finding a socket that was part of the ring and coming off it with the 2.5 but is that the way you professions do the same? are is there a better safer way to do it

I have been reading up on testing circuits as i was reading about the loop impedance test it said (the purpose of this test is to determine the impedance of the earth fault return path) could any one tell me what impedance means in a non technical way as iam not the sharpest tool
