Maybe. There was a fair bit came out. It fired up ok to start with then failed. I will get the hair dryer on it tomorrow. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. There is no flashing lights at all. The burner ignites ok on the central heating but as soon as you open a hot tap it goes off.

I have tried operating the micro switch by hand and the burner won’t ignite.

New diaphragm fitted tonight and burner lit ok with hot water. After a short while the burner went off even though hot tap was still on. Pin still making the micro switch. Now diaphragm seems to be working but burner won’t light at all. Heating side works fine.

I have a new diaphragm kit coming. Thanks

I have just noticed the heating gets hot when not selected. I have had the hot tap running and the micro switch pressed in by hand.

Hi. I have a soil stack with a vent on the side of the house. The manhole in the garden also has a vent built in but I cant see where that comes out? Would it be ok to block it up in the manhole? We are having trouble with rats at the top of the garden and they seem to be going up it. Thanks

Ive just took the cover off the electrics and there is a cylindrical capacitor?? with 2 wires coming off. It smells like this may be burnt out. The pump turns easily by hand but makes no effort to turn when swithed on.

Pilot light is lit. What would the symptoms be if the pump isnt working?
