    Integrated Fridge Freezer Cabinet Height

We need a new fridge freezer and the one we like is slightly taller than the space where the current FF is (I think most are these days). Above the FF there is space but there is a template piece of timber on top of a flat piece, but I don't know how it's attached! How can I get that off...

    Replacing a Filling Loop.... How?

Update: Ok, so I replaced the filling loop and all was good, much better than before. However, recently, probably since the temperature dropped (and this may be a sheer coincidence) from an average of 10-12 degrees down to 3-6 degrees, I have been losing pressure like before. Regular shutdowns...

    Replacing a Filling Loop.... How?

Is the PRV a diy job? I think there may be a tiny leak from the nut that is behind it. I haven't seen it before cos it evaporates on the heat of the pipe. The PRV appears to be a fairly cheap part; is it a straightforward install?

    Replacing a Filling Loop.... How?

Ok, so I changed the filling loop on this last weekend; bit tricky as the pipes are very close and it was difficult to get a spanner or grips onto the top nut. However, my pressure loss is much less now, significantly so. I haven't needed to top it up all week!

    Replacing a Filling Loop.... How?

I'll look into that too, but this is clearly leaking so probably worth changing.

    Replacing a Filling Loop.... How?

Thanks. Shame I didn't think about doing this yesterday as I had the water off to replace a kitchen tap unit!! Ok, so to clarify, turn off mains, run taps dry, remove cold water end, and THEN open valve at other end to drain out, yes? How much water is there likely to be? Also, I'm not seeing...

    Replacing a Filling Loop.... How?

Hi, I have a Potterton Powermax HE boiler and the pressure is regularly dropping since putting the heat on again just recently. I top up the pressure by opening up the filling loop, but I've noticed a leak in the loop itself. See the picture I've added. The valve at the bottom leaks/drips...

    Potterton Powermax HE 115 problems

Hi, I will do my best to describe what problems I am having here. If anyone can offer any advice or guidance it would be much appreciated. The boiler was installed, in a new build, around 2004. We moved in late 2007. The boiler hasn't been serviced since we moved in. Unknown before...

Hi, I have an Indesit freestanding washing machine. Is it possible to modify this to fit into a built in kitchen, ie to fit a kitchen unit door to the front? Cheers.

Oh, and where IS this valve/actuator?

Radiators Hot When water on (Potterton Powermax Boiler)

The British Gas fixed rate repair in our area is £192. That's to fix it whatever the problem. Would you say that's a reasonable price given my symptoms? In other words, does anyone here know how much this repair would cost? Thanks

OK, I need to find an engineer/plumber in the Totton/Southampton area.

Radiators Hot When water on (Potterton Powermax Boiler)

Thanks to you both. Where is this unit? Edit: Do these symptoms require the actuator to be replaced too?

Radiators Hot When water on (Potterton Powermax Boiler)

Hi, Please can someone help. I've searched the forum and found other threads matching my symptoms but not with my boiler system. I have a potterton powermax HE system. What could be causing the rads to come on when the water's on (the CH is switched off) and where can I find the unit to...
