Probably a silly question but ,,does anyone know where i an get a manual on this boiler? I have tried in the plumbers shop but no luck.Also another silly question why can't you buy the gasket for the pump on its own Sue

Heard of Hayes? Well i have had another go at the thing,Cured the leak,But it still goes of after a few mins ,its like it thinks its reached high temp :? Why 45 ?

I don't begrudge ,but like the avarage joe ,i'm not made of money. As for their labour charge i think i do .I have done many job's ,mainly in the motor trade,(garage) and know how it work's .That why i try to do most jobs myself(where possible)

It is including vat .the boiler cost on the quote is £1122.18 I have found the same boiler for £714.00 including vat

£2886.82 for a worcester greenstar 24 i junior

The last time i called someone to help fix the boiler,,,He was over 45 had a an elastoplast holding his glasses together,and the first thing he did was to forget to turn off the power he most certainly got a :shock: (poor chap) then he went to get a part and was gone for 3hours, to top it...

Now i am worried :lol:

It started about two weeks ago ,usually when it was working ok it would heat the water up go to three lights then turn it self to low flame ,but it started to go to two lights then go off when it went down to one light it would start up again , now in the last three days it starts up, on heating...

maybe it could be the pump , as the flow switch is only about 2 years old , also we took off the cable to the mother board from the flow switch and manually connected the two pins so to tell it that the flow switch was on or flowing , it did not light up

Hi , I have a potterton lynx electronic combi boiler. The problem is it keep switching itself off after reaching the second light it turns itself off Anyone have any ideas :cry: Sue
