A friend of mine who is totally unpractical and has no diy skills at all got fed up with the creaking floor boards in their bedroom so he went out and bought a cordless drill and a box of screws!!!! and just went around and randomly screwed the floor boards down a day or so later they noticed...

I have recently installed a shower with a salamander 2 bar shower pump the installation is correct, but when using the shower the pump stops when the mixer tap is central i.e 50% hot 50% cold. I have fitted non-return valves on the pump outlet but this hasn't helped. any ideas?
